HOW TO SCHEDULE A SCENE REMOTELY

To schedule a scene to turn on automatically follow the following steps:

  1. Navigate to prod.future-portal.com
  2. Login using your credentials
  3. If you wish to browse for new scenes, navigate to the scene store.
  4. Here you will find all of the future studios scenes currently available. Make sure to check back regularly as new scenes are being added all the time.
  5. Once you have made your selection you can click on schedule to take you to the scheduler. Alternatively, navigate to the top of the page and select ‘schedule’.
  6. The Future Studios Scheduler presents your studio schedule for the calendar week. Days are shown from left to right and times are shown from top to bottom
  7. To schedule your scene navigate to your preferred day and time.
  8. Click and drag from the start time to the end time.
  9. A modal box will appear with further detail.
  10. Ensure you have selected the correct studio.
  11. Ensure you have selected the correct scene.
  12. Add a description of your class.
  13. If this is a one off class, click schedule.
  14. If this is a repeat class, tick the repeat weekly button and then press schedule. This class will now repeat every week.

Remember, this is the most important part of your studio schedule planning, the remote schedule tool will activate scenes at the dates and times set.

It is recommended to leave some time between classes to allow for overrunning classes and time for members to prepare any equipment they need for a seamless experience.

HOW TO CANCEL A SCHEDULED SCENE REMOTELY

To cancel a scheduled scene from the schedule:

  1. Navigate to prod.future-portal.com
  2. Login using your credentials
  3. Navigate to the schedule page and find the scene you wish to cancel.
  4. Click on the scene.

There are two options:

  1. To cancel all instances of a scene that has been repeated in future weeks, select “delete all jobs from series”. This will remove the select days scene and all future instances of that scene.
  2. To cancel the selected days scene only and retain the future weeks schedule, select “Delete individual job from series”

HOW TO ACTIVATE A SCENE VIA THE STUDIO TABLET

  1. Login to your Future Studios controller using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to your preferred scene and press to select it
  3. Press play to activate the projectors and your scene
  4. Press stop to deactivate the projectors and your scene
  5. Press the browser button to continue browsing alternative scenes.
Remember, the cloud based schedule takes precedent over the studio tablet. Any scheduled scene in the near future will override your tablet selection.

Remember to logout, once you have finished selecting your scene.

HOW TO ADJUST YOUR AUDIO AND VOLUME SETTINGS

The dial in your studio has several audio options.

There is a channel selector dial, a studio speaker volume dial and a studio microphone headset dial.

  1. Select Channel 1 to enable the Future Studios soundscapes. Remember, some scenes require your own music and therefore do not include soundscapes.
  2. Select Channel 2 to play your own music on your own device. This can be played on any scene.
  3. Simply plug your device into the auxillary cable, select your music on your preferred platform and you are all set.
  4. Remember, to get the full effect of Future Studios, turn your device volume to 100% and use the volume nob beneath the channel selector to adjust your studio volume.
  5. If available, channel 3, 4, 5 and 6 are reserved for any existing audio equipment such as CD players or Bluetooth connectors. Consult your studio manager for details on your studios precise setup.

  1. If playing from your own device, remember to ensure your device volume is set to 100%.
  2. Adjust the volume to your desired level.
